Chores Star is a family chore app. A grown-up sets up a family, anyone can add chores, and children earn stars for the work they do and spend them on rewards the family agrees on.

A grown-up creates the family first, then shares the family’s invite code from the Family tab. On the child’s device, tap I’m a kid — join my family on the sign-in screen and enter that code. Children do not need an email address or a password.
Every chore is worth a number of stars. When someone finishes a chore they mark it done, and it waits for another member of the family to confirm it — you cannot confirm your own work. Once confirmed, the stars are added and can be spent on rewards in the Treats tab.
No. A family only ever sees its own chores, members and rewards.
Open the Profile tab and choose Delete Account. This removes your profile and your personal data. If you would rather we did it for you, email the address above from the account’s email address and we will confirm once it is done.
Enter your email address on the sign-in screen, then tap Forgot Password? and we will send you a reset link. If you signed in with Apple or Google, use that same button rather than a password.
Close it fully and open it again. If it still will not load, check that the device is online, and email us — tell us what the screen says and we will look into it.
